How to force PMS to try OpenSubtitles again after creating VIP account?

Hi, I was about to decommission my Kodi setup in favor of Plex, until my wife complained about the lack of subtitles, and the inability to download them, like she is used to doing in Kodi.
At first I thought she must be using Plex wrong, but as I started checking, I have lots of movies and TV shows without subtitles.

I’ve been reading lots of posts with problems using the OpenSubtitles agent, and one common problem is the 100 a day throttling.
So, I signed up for an OpenSubtitles VIP account.

I am now trying to get subtitles downloaded for a movie listing no subtitles, I clear the opensubtitles log file, I click refresh on the movie, nothing in the log, it appears that a refresh does not try to get subtitles.
I know the right subtitle exists on OpenSubtitles, when I use Sublight to find subtitles for the same file, it gets them.

How do I force a subtitle check to happen?
I do not want to do a full library refresh, in case it eats up all the quota, I just want files without subtitles to be checked.

I did read some posts that claim that subtitles are only searched for when the files are added, surely that can’t be true?
But based on me monitoring the opensubtitles log, and doing a single movie refresh, maybe that is true?
If there is a 100 a day quota, and there is no rechecking, then any files added and exceeding the quota will remain without subtitles forever?

I know I can use another app to get external subs, but that really defeats the purpose of switching to Plex with the intent of making my life easier.

Any help in forcing a subtitle check in Plex?

Try SubZero addon. It works with opensibtitles.org as well. You can choose and force search for subtitles you want. You love it.
