How to get Plex to load metadata from The tvdb for a tvshow

So, I’m having an issue with Pokemon - It’s a strange season, being released originally in Japan and such. In Japan, Pokemon has 17 seasons, and in America, it has 19… I’ve got everything named to the Japan style, and have found that the TVDB uses the same style for it’s organizing - But when I match the Pokemon series through tvdb, it says it’s downloading metadata, but doesn’t ever download anything.

I’ve tested it with the moviedb, and it will download data - Just not the right stuff, because it uses the American 19-series naming order, which is not how I have mine set up.

How do I get Plex to download the data from TVDB, like it’s supposed to?

This is the only show I’m having this issue with. Most, if not all of my shows are matched through tvdb and they all downloaded just fine. I’ve also verified on the tvdb’s website, that the show has metadata to download and it does.

It’s also worth noting that it loads episode names for seasons 1-5, but 6-17 don’t load anything at all.

There is still an issue which affects longer running tv shows. This is expected to be solved in a future PMS release, probably right in the next version.
