How do I set Plex to have a default library location for recordings? For a number of months I had two locations for recording movies. 1 = /public/Recorded Movies and 2 = /Plex_Data/Videos. My process was to record to the first and then edit the movie and move to the second. This was working fine until recently when plex started defaulting to the second. I know that, when setting up a recording, I can use advanced recording settings to choose which location to use but I would like it to default and not have to use the advanced setting. Can anyone help? Thanks.

If you only have one folder location saved for the library you are using for recording there is no way to choose a location it will record to the only folder you have added to the library. If you have multiple folders added to the library you will have one additional drop down selection when adding a recording which allows you to specify a folder in the library to use for the recording. Plex should remember the last folder selected when setting up future recordings but you will still have the option to select a different location.
