How to set up QPAP HS-453DX server

I have been running PLEX server on a dedicated desktop, but switched to a NAS, so that I can use that instead, but have been unable to access the NAS via plex.
I get the error

No soup for you!

The server you’re trying to access doesn’t want to let you in. Make sure you’re signed in as a user with access to this server.

I’ve rebooted the QNAP, updated the Plex app, rebooted the QPAP, still same error. I can’t run My plex off of the QNAP hardware
