When you click the context menu of those movies… does that offer you an option to Match the item or an option to Fix Match?
PS: You might want to look into the native screenshot app of macOS… this will also create videos of section of your screen without the pain of holding your phone stable.
Good point.
Currently it appears all your movie files are all organized next to each other inside your Movies folder. When you open the details page, Plex usually verifies the file is unchanged and looks for changes to related local media assets (e.g. local posters, subtitles). With all your files in a single folder, this leaves Plex to check more than 12k files… which is the little moment of refreshing your movie you see in the app.
If you give each movie its own folder (e.g. /Volumes/Videos/Movies/Ray Donovan - The Movie (2022)/Ray Donovan - The Movie (2022).m4v), Plex only needs to check the content of that folder (/Volumes/Videos/Movies/Ray Donovan - The Movie (2022)/) – as per Otto’s response, that’ll cut the “refresh” period significantly you might not even notice it.
