How to Update PLEX on WD EX2?

Hi,

Anyone can guide me step by step how to do a Plex update accordingly?
I have tried download it and install it through menu “Install an app manually” but it just says 'running" but nothing really happens. When refreshed, the version still the old version.

Tried to log a case with WD support, said it’s not their scope to support the app, wow great support for such an expensive device.

Any help please

I had this same version and I just updated it without any problem. Try stopping Plex first and make sure you Confirm when it says Plex is already installed and you want to replace it

Hi, I have tried manually installing the update, and it never goes beyond step 5, it just say “running” endlessly. The source bin file had been copied to local wd drive to make sure no issue with the network.
