@sa2000 Just tried both and they both crashed, too. Did my server send the crash logs back to HQ?
Canāt see any - may be upload failed with error 429
Can you see check the PLEX MEDIA SERVER folder below "Crash Reports\xxxxxxxxx` directory where xxxxxxxxxx is the version
@sa2000 DMāed you the dmp files.
FYI⦠I rolled back to an older version of the Intel driver, 26.20.100.6890, and HW Acceleration worked without crashing on latest plex, 1.18.2.2209.
Thank you for all your help in doing the iterative testing with different versions
@Geran @Untitledlives @housepark @fuzzywuzzywasawoman
Could you please look into downgrading the intel driver to #26.20.100.6890
@whoiscarmine was running with #26.20.100.7158 when Plex Media Server was crashing
@sa2000 I am running 26.20.100.7000 with Plex version 1.18.2.2209 and HW Acceleration is working without crashing. I have scheduled downtime this weekend to test which version of the Intel driver update is causing it to crash.
There have been several recent versions of the driver
Updated 21 December2019
The above is for the P530 for windows 10
That looks about right for me. If you need anymore testing, please let me know.
It will be good to know if their latest 14 November driver release fixes the issue - or establish latest version that does not crash
Alright, I can do some testing and report back.
@sa2000 the latest INTEL driver (14-NOV) was crashing, too. I had installed and tried that before our recent DMs.
Thanks - so probably 26.20.100.7000 is the last one for the P530 that does not crash
interesting, Iāve verified that iām on 7156. iām going to roll back to 7000.
so the roll back repaired all my issues. this was huge for meā¦
I attempted a few tv episodes and movies.
Hi all,
I saw this thread as I also got this issue.
Iāll run some tests with the other driver versions today.
Lets hope, that the new driver on 30th of November will fix it.

Downgrading the Intel driver to 26.20.100.7000 fixed the issue for my 6700k (HD530). On latest public version (2058?).
FYI just to throw more information at this my issue was on a 7th gen i5 hd630. I started seeing more issues last night, I logged in and found out that Windows update decided that my driver we have a date and upgraded me past 7000. After rollback and a reboot everything is good.
