I cannot access my server with a browser but i can with the Plex app

Access via Chrome crashes, adding media etc working fine through smart devices all normal.

Same here, but I can’t even get into the settings via web browser on my Windows server. Web app worked remotely, but I tried changing my secure connections settings and now I can’t access anywhere.

I figured it out it’s now working on mine it was a VPN issue that was causing the plex server from not responding

I’m suddenly having the exact same problem. Can you please reset my cert?

@Method007 I don’t see any changes in your cert in a while. Do you mind sharing your logs. Which URL are you trying to access it with?

Based on your response I did a full system reset and was able to access it as I was previously. I did it once before and it didnt fix anything but this time it did. Thank you for the help!

@Divv4k I don’t see anything wrong with your cert. Do you mind sharing your logs. Which URL are you trying to access it with? have you tried clearing cache/site data in browser?

My remote users are getting playback error - works on the local network though. This just started today as everything worked fine yesterday.

Without other info I would either tell them to reboot their devices our you reboot your server to start with. I see nothing wrong with your certificate. If you still have issues please make your own topic with info about your network set up. logs from a remote player that can’t connect would be helpful ( like your smart phone on cellular).

Rebooted the server and that did the trick - thank you.

my users are all seeing this error as well. only way I can get remote access is enabling relay.

is there a way I can check my cert myself?

Hello am having the same problems, Can you reset my certificate as well ? Attached is my logs. Is there a way I can reset my certificates in the future in case this happens again ?

Same error on my end. I can connect to my server via my iPhone and ipad apps but not from a browser (tried on MacBook and iPhone). I also tried the ps4 app and I get the same error as in the browser app.

Since I’m currently traveling I can’t access my server settings.

Could you reset my certificate as you did for other users earlier in this thread? Thanks

@leslienyc85 done. if you can get server logs it may be helpful so we cann figure out why this is still happening to some folks. you can reply to the message i sent you to send them directly to me if you get a chance

@adnanalmazloum I don’t see a cert issue with your server. I would try http://serverip:32400/web

I’m currently traveling. Will send the logs when I’m back. In the meantime, is there a way to reset my certificate on my own next time? If so, can you share a step by step? Thanks
