Is this ok?

When you attach / drag & drop the ZIP file,

Give it time to upload.

What happened is I got an empty link.

Thank you.

Found it. DNS lookup failure.

Mar 24, 2024 17:13:41.910 [0x7f2327610b38] ERROR - PublicAddressManager: Unable to get public IP adddress from myPlex (httpCode=-6):

Go to the Syno’s Control Panel - Network.

Under eth0 and eth1, confirm both are pointing to your modem/router’s IP address for DNS

–OR—

Disconnect eth1 (you only need one adapter to get this working)

Thanks ChuckPa, Definately connected to router, it says Lan 1 disconnected. Lan 2 connected static IP.
Hope this helps, reached NAS sreen does not show library structure only snapshots. but there are files in folders - not mapping. clicking claim server button just goes around and reverts.
hope this helps. G.

I would change that around…

  1. Use LAN 1, disconnect LAN 2
  2. Syno addresses are 192.168.1.30 or 192.168.1.31
  3. Open the Syno in the browser
  4. In Control Panel - Network –
    – make certain both DNS and Gateway point to your modem/router
    – restart plex

Hi Powered off and swapped cable to lan 1. restart, powers up cant connect.
It says Local Network cant contact gateway 192.168.1.150. is odd direct connected

swapped cable back changed ipv6 gateway from .1.32 to router 1.150 no go now cant figure out how to login via tv. downloaded new app didnt work

OK so I got back in Put settings back to where they were. it will still not let me claim server only shows plex web. not nas.

Sorry, so what do I have to do to resolve the DNS failure?

so a FRiend dis some digging, yerbose log shows lots of errors resolving Plex domain names when we try to connect. so i cannot link my account. seems the pronlem is at plex. Any thoughts? If this cannot be resolved soon i will be asking for my money back.
