Unable to connect to plex server using plex.tv or the desktop app. However I can access my server when using the app on smart tvs or consoles. I have tried resetting the server and my NAS but still no change. Been trying to troubleshoot all evening but no luck Please help!
Sorry, I’m not too familiar with these sorts of things.
I have bonded both of the ethernet connections and chose Adaptive Load Balancing. I have also moved my media out of the Plex shared folder and into a separate folder following your instructions.
I am still getting an error, though now it is saying that the server is unreachable, or it’s even attempting to connect to the server. I’ve attached a screen shot and an updated zip. Logs.zip (2.2 MB)
Hi trumpy81, thank you so much for your help. However I am still having issues.
When I try to access http://Your_NAS_IP_Address:32400/web. It shows my libraries however when I go to view them it says that I need to claim the server. When I do this however it either won’t claim the server and simply says that I need to install the newest version of plex ( and I have also uninstalled and reinstalled plex on my synology NAS) or it says that server settings are unavailable.Logs.zip (2.2 MB)
