I could not connect the web app to my files even though they were on the same PC. I updated the server to the most recent version (this fixed it before) but it still would not connect. I uninstalled the server and then reinstalled the server and now nothing seems to be working. The web app does not give me the option to connect to server or to do anything with my local files. I am not great with software so if there is a fix I will need it spelled out in simple terms. Is there a way to just remove everything and start again?

Thanks for this. I went with the option of deleting everything and reinstalling. With a bit of fiddling around with my drives I managed to get it working again. So hopefully it stays that way!
