I can't add my media

Player Version#: Web

I have installed Plex Media Server on Arch Linux (latest version). I can’t add my media. When I try to do so, I get a message asking me to download Plex Media Server, I’ve already downloaded it! And I can no longer move forward.

In order to complete the setup you need to access your server through the bundled version of Plex Web. That’ll bring up a dialog where you’ll be able to name your server and link it to your account.

Once the server is linked to your account, you can also access it from other clients such as the hosted version of Plex Web (https://app.plex.tv/desktop). If you don’t want to link the server to your account, you can only access it locally using its IP address.
