I Can't Add New TV Shows

I have been a Plex user for about 5 or 6 years now.
I have not had any problems at all, but now, all of a sudden, I can’t seem to add new TV shows to my Plex.
If I had the TV show to begin with & want to add new episodes, no problem.
But now, it won’t even see that I added a new folder.
I was hoping to get some input into this problem as I never mess with setting of computer program because I am not that handy on the computer, and besides, if it works, why mess with it.

I would appreciate any help with this small issue.

  1. Please show how you have the TV show named and organized - a directory listing, etc.

  2. Ensure your server is configured for debug level logs.
    Do not enable verbose logging.
    Settings → Server_Name → General + Show Advanced

  3. Restart Plex Media Server and wait ~2 minutes for it to fully start.

  4. Scan the library containing the new content.

  5. Pull the server log files
    Settings → Troubleshooting → Download Logs.

  6. Attach the ZIP file to this thread.
    Drag it into the message window. It will attach at the cursor location.

Good Morning

Please forgive me, I have been out of the state for a couple months on business, with no time for anything but business.

I have attached the server log as requested.

I have also taken a snip of the media info screen for a TV show that is currently on my Plex without any issues.

I hope this helps you to figure out what is wrong.

The server logs did not attach. Wait for the upload to complete before hitting Reply.

Also, please show how you have the shows named and organized. A screenshot, directory listing, etc.

Wrong naming.
Folder is correct, but you need Seasons folder for the files (Season 01, Season 02 etc),
and the file name should be (bare minimum): “The 100 (2014) - S01E03 - Earth Kills.mp4” (without the “”)

Most important: get rid of the space character between season and episode number.
