The last time it retrieved show data was about 2-3 days ago. Then I have a new set, that it doesn’t retrieve the data for.
I’ve tried deleting the caches in the Plex directory on the server. Both standard and plugin caches.
(As a side note, why doesn’t Plex supply a button to do this? Needing to delete the caches seems to be a common enough problem that it really should be a button.)
Anyway…
Plex seems to be refusing to download metadata automatically.
But it also refuses to do it when I do it manually by choosing the “Refresh metadata” option inside the show.
The shows I’ve tried that previously worked recently are Alien Nation and Colony.
Frasier is not working. And neither are Alien Nation and Colony any more.

I’ve tried switching the Agent for TV data to be Movie Database first.
I tried looking in the logs, and am finding lines like this:
Error opening URL ‘https://meta.plex.tv/tv_e/77811/frasier/1993’
And so on.
I’ve seen previous posts that seem to indicate that TVDB has gone down in the past. But I found a link to check the API and it said it was fine.
Anyone else having these kinds of difficulties?
