It is a known bug which there is a fix in an upcoming version. Hoping it will be out sometime next week but I don’t have a exact ETA

I see that there is a update from 1.22.3.4392-d7c624def to 1.23.0.4438-5eef0fd80-x86, so
i downloaded and installed the newest version. It seems the music lyrics option is still not working.
any ETA when this is going to be fixed?
Did you refresh the artist/album?
Maybe I’m a little slow this AM but refresh the artist/album? Do U mean refresh all metadata?
I installed latest 1.23 and refreshed my music library meta data and now have lyrics.

walk me thru the steps to refresh music library metadata in Plex

Boy what a let down, I thought that maybe you guys where going to do the music side of Plex a just due. But I was wrong it does have a switch to turn Lyric’s On or
Off , it doesn’t auto feed unless you on you computer in the Plex app and it doesn’t search for lyric’s if a song does not have them.
So is there plans to make music Lyric’s better or is this it?
Come on you programmers are much better than this, in the 8 years I used Plex Pass I seen some Great Improvements.
I’m honestly not sure what you are asking. Lyrics are metadata like other metadata. You refresh metadata from the server which can be done in the web app.
I also have the same problem with no lyrics but I appear to have the latest version.
I have version Version 1.22.3.4392 and Web Version 4.54.5 and its reporting as the latest update. Where is the update to the version that everybody is talking about?
1.23 is in beta. if you don’t want to wait for the beta to go public then in you can change the Update Channel in the General settings of the server to Beta then you can check for updates in the web app. Or you can go to our downloads page to get and install manually
Version 1.23.1.4571 was released today but the lyrics are still missing from the update. Do you know when a stable version with the lyrics will be released?
