After your most recent update to plex on Android Shield, my server has been crashing. I re-installed the firmware for the Shield, and got a fresh hard drive formatted and loaded up with content. When I tried to transfer the libraries over they did okay. But then started to start causing the shield to restart. Then the plex app would re-download and then crash in a loop for a day. It just crashed again on me. If you could help me that would be great. Love Your Product
unfortunately have had similar problems too. I have done factory resets a lot in the last week. Tried many different configurations - different drives etc with no joy. The only thing I can say for certain is it seems to be plex that is causing the problem. The reboots stop if I manually disable the server when I the Shield starts up. Also they seem most prevalent when scanning for media in my ‘TV shows’ folder. I seem to recall many years ago a specific piece of media apparently causing the crash though I don’t remember the circumstances.
So far no solution, but interested to know if anyone else has any other information or thoughts.
I changed to the Plex Beta channel and am running latest PMS beta 1.13.2.5102. No issues over last 24hr but will continue to monitor. I am running Shield Pro, using internal storage with media on NAS.
Yep crashed tonight

(Transcoder) Conversion of remote content could fail on some x86_64 Linux systems (#8662)
Interested to see if this improves the situation.
