I’ll go to look at a movie I have on Plex, and it’ll show that there is no audio available, a subtitle that I can’t select. So I analyze the movie, and everything is fine, the audio’s available and there are some subtitle options. Then, maybe just a day later, I’ll come back to the movie and everything is just the same as before I analyzed it. This happens with many, many titles in my collection. Any advice?
Here’s a before and after of one movie being analyzed (no subtitles on this one but it was the first movie I could find that this would apply to.
do you have other issues with your server / metadata / settings?
sounds like Plex fails to save the data found when analyzing the video
I don’t remember any other issues. Once when my sister tried to watch a movie on the server it wouldn’t play until it was re-analyzed, but that’s the only other problem I can recall.
