I reclaimed. A day later- gone. I run Qnap Plex Media Server, and Plex says "Get Plex Media Server"

I reclaimed Qnap Plex in a long painful process requiring multiple calls to Qnap and multiple Plex forum questions, because virtually every step in the Plex reclaim process is wrong for Qnap. But it finally worked again.

A day later- and the Plex server was gone again. When I run Plex Media Server on Qnap, Plex says “Get Plex Media Server.” Which is what I ran to get that error message. Why does the running copy of Plex Media Server not know that Plex Media Server is running?

Do I need to go through the long, painful, arcane SSH putty procedure to reclaim all over AGAIN?

How do I know it will stay reclaimed? Will I have to go through this endless Sisyphean loop eternally?

@laserfocus

It’s late for me.

Tomorrow afternoon (EDT), I’ll be available to help you get it stabilized.

QNAP’s do not go crazy unless the internet connection is misconfigured or the ISP is having issues.

Thanks. Yes, let’s schedule.

From the other thread:

Yes, there are two 1GbE Adapters on the Qnap and one 10 GbE. They might all have entries. How do I see those on the account?

When PMS starts, it will list the adapters it finds.
PMS has historically had many problems when multiple adapters are found and even more when the desired adapter is not the first enumerated adapter.

What do the DEBUG server logs show as PMS discovers and lists the adapters it finds ? ( You can attach the server logs ZIP, captured 2 minutes after PMS restart, here and we’ll look at it )
