Plex stopped working - ‘an error was encountered whilst loading the dashboard’
Tried updating to the latest Media server - wouldn’t install because a file already existed.
Tried this to repair the database
Repair a Corrupt Database | Plex Support . - no joy
Tried this to uninstall
Uninstall Plex Media Server | Plex Support . - no joy
Tried re-installing
Now all I can get is the small chevron to appear for a second in the tool bar and it vanishes.
Using Mojave. Also tried a restore from Time Machine, no change.
is there a foolproof way of removing Plex completely and then doing a clean re-install ?

No change Trumpy, not sure what the problem is. Fortunately i’ve realised i can use my NAS instead, but thanks for your help, much appreciated.

Success Trumpy.
It was quite simple in the end, i hadn’t realised that there are two Librarys (Mac and User) and using the Finder > GoTo menu, was sending me exclusively to the Mac Library.
Once i was able to access the User Library and follow the uninstall instructions for that location, the uninstall completed, and i was able to reinstall without any problems.
Many thanks for your help .
