I Updated to 1.25.2.5319 and now nothing is streaming to anywhere

How does one not clip the max bitrate?

My Synology and Atleast the Plex GUI has no limitations.

Bit rate limiting can occur in:

  1. Playback quality setting on the player side
  2. Remote Access bandwidth limit on the server side.
  3. Plex Relay is active because no Direct Connection exists to the server.
  • 2 Mbps for Plex Pass holders
  • 1 Mbps for non-Plex Pass holders.

One or more of those 3 is clipping it.

those are what you’ve set but are not guaranteed.

What is the player’s “Remote” quality setting?

The default is 2Mbps

I have tried on my TV/Phone/Laptop

  • TV set to Original. Error: App cannot direct play this item. Direct Play is disabled.
  • Phone set to Orginal. Error: Unable to play media
  • Laptop (Via Chrome) is set to Original. Error: This server is not powerful enough to convert video.

Direct play is not disabled.
