IMPOSSIBLE TO READ MY DATA (Films & Music)

Hello ! And sorry for my weak English !
1- I created a free account on Plex and organized the Plex server with my HDD WD 3To connected to my PC. At that time I could run my data through my PC without any problem.
2- The aim was to prepare my data and now I could connect the same HDD to my new Nvidia PC Shield Pro… But when I open PLEX on that device, I can see the contents (list of films or music) but it remains impossible to read anything.
3 - I tried again to go through my PC and now, impossible to access to the Data…

… Difficult for me to read long technic texts in English.
What am I supoose to do ?

Hello ! I did read this content and I surely know now that it doestn’t come from the fact that the HDD is self powered… but it didn’t solve the all thing…
Concerning the connection of my HDD to the PC - what I initially did to organize my data - mow the HDD is not seen : I get the message “check that the disk exists and is available” …

I didn’t work on the second problem / TV Shield Pro.

That’is where I am at that point.

Faulty HDD or cable?

HDD works with its cable when I use it directly connected to a PC.
