There is a ‘include in dashboard’ option that is very useful in preventing adult content from accidentally being displayed to children. However, the content that is not displayed in the dashboard still shows up in search results. Please add a ‘include in search’ option similar to the ‘include in dashboard’ option per library.
If you need to protect children, use a ‘managed’ Plex user account for the kids and don’t share the critical library with this account.

I do that, but when i am logged into the tv and search for anything items from libraries that are not set to show on the dashboard show in the search. I’m just asking that they limit search results to libraries that show on the dashboard, or add an option to control which libraries will show in search results.
It would be great if you could then go to one of the libraries with limited search results and do a search within the library too.
The point is, that you change the plex user on the tv to the account of the kids.
Then even the search won’t bring up results from those libraries where they don’t have access.
