Incorrect ratings from IMDB

Hi!

Plex sometimes fetches IMDB ratings instead of Rotten Tomatoes (RT) ones. I can understand when the movie doesn’t exist in the RT DB. For some reason, the IMDB rating is sometimes way off (which is why I prefer RT).

For instance, I’ve got a movie that Plex displays an IMDB rating (it has the IMDB logo) of 8.8 for, but really scored just 3.5. The movie doesn’t exist on RT and gets 0% on TheMovieDB. Other metadata for that movie is spot on, director, actors and so on. I tried refreshing metadata but it still has that 8.8 score.

I couldn’t find a topic on this, so am I the only one?

I’ve got:
Cast list source set to IMDB
Ratings source set to RT
Plot summary source set to IMDB.

The scanner is Plex Movie Scanner
The agent is Plex Movie

Plex will only show the RT score if the information we receive from them includes the score and the photo (tomato, popcorn, etc.). Without both, we revert to the star system which is based on TheMovieDB or IMDB.

That sounds good.

The thing is, with some of the movies, I’m getting wrong IMDB / TMDB stars.

In my example, “Ghost Source Zero” gets 8.8 stars on IMDB according to Plex.
IMDB really gives it 3.5 stars
TMDB gives it 0.
