Plex Movie agent pulling ratings from Rotten for some movies instead of IMDB as set

Server Version#: 1.20.2.3402
Player Version#: 4.34.4

Just started grabbing ratings from Rotten Tomatoes for some movies after upgrading to latest server. For example:

2067
Enola Holmes
David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet

If I remember correctly this setting will not (automatically) apply to movies for which you already got ratings – even if they’re using a different source.
Refreshing the metadata of those movies should also download the corresponding rating from your selected source.

That is of course assuming your movie is listed on that source – if it’s not, Plex will also attempt to load ratings from other sources. I’ve got a number of anime that are not listed on Rotten Tomatoes, so Plex will fallback to IMDb or TMDb ratings instead.

It was already set to IMDB before I added any of the three mentioned that got rating from Rotten Tomatoes so not a case of them already having got a rating previously from Rotten Tomatoes due to a previous setting.

Unmatching, rematching or refreshing metadata just grabs the same ratings from Rotten Tomatoes. Even deleting, emptying trash and readding does the same.

All movies are listed at IMDB with ratings so it should not be falling back to Rotten Tomatoes.

Also in past, perhaps with Plex Movie (Legacy) ?, when IMDB rating was not available, it would simply not show rating which I prefer instead of having ratings from different sources. Is there anyway to not have it fall back to other sources when not available from specified source?

We are aware of this, and are currently investigating

ok, thanks for looking into.

Seems this has been fixed as new ones are getting the IMDB rating as they should and refreshing old ones that did not now replaces the Rotten Tomatoes ratings with the IMDB ones it should have shown in the first place. Thanks.
