I have my main plex server running in my rack no where near my tv / antenna. I have just got a micro PC that I was going to put in the lounge room for the DVR portion of plex. Just wondering if I have to setup a second plex server just for the DVR, or if there’s another option?
You could use a network tuner like an HDHomerun (assuming antenna is nearish a wired network port)… that way server does not need to be attached to tuner.
Probably should have looked into other options before impulse buying a new PC…
