fresh install of what i think is the player ? (Plex-1.28.0.1681-cc6e807c-x86_64.exe)
installed it twice.
but every time i run it … i get 2 missing .dll’s
msvcp140.dll
and
vcruntime140.dll
why didn’t these install w/ the bundle exe?
and how do i fix this please?

An attempt is made during the installation. But if the system is reporting that this software version is already installed, then the installation is skipped.
In your Windows “Apps” control panel, try to remove “Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable” [both (x64) and (x86)].
Then reboot your computer and download and install this softweare directly from Microsoft: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145
