ok so aside from the fact the Apple TV app just won’t work when the internet goes down, fine. But I’ve set my server to allow certain IP addresses and then hanged to a range based on some googling. However, my iPhone connected just fine yesterday until it decided, nope, no more plex for you. Now my iPhone won’t connect but my iPad will. What gives? They (server, laptop, phone, iPad) are all on the same network with the same ranges of IPs (actually I set them all to be assigned per device in my router for things like remote desktop and well OCD really). So even if i specify the range or the specific IPs based on the device I want to use - Plex seems to make up its mind randomly as to which can and cant connect and for how long.
Whats going on? - also, hurry up stupid ISP and restore my internet already
