Invite sent to non-plex account e-mail not working.

I have multiple e-mail accounts, and a friend recently sent me an invite for their server to one of them. This just happened to be the e-mail that is not associated with my plex account. When I click on the link to accept the invite, it just takes me to the friends page under server settings for my server. If I copy the link into a browser where I’m not already logged in, it just asks me to log in and then takes me to my server, but doesn’t accept the invite. And because this was sent to an e-mail account not associated with my plex account, I don’t see any pending invites.

Basically I can’t accept the invite because I already have a plex account, but the invite was sent to a different email then the one linked to my plex account.
Is this a known issue, and or is there any way to accept the invite or add other e-mail addresses to my plex account?

It would be really bad to accept the invitation with the other email address.
Because it would create a new plex account.
And you would have to switch plex accounts, just to switch between your own and your friend’s server.

Tell your friend your Plex user name or the correct email address and ask him to invite you again.
Keep an eye open that he doesn’t invite you into his Plex Home.

So I eventually got in contact with my friend to resend the invite to my plex account.

However this still feels like it was a bug that was preventing me from accepting the invite sent to a different address.
