Hi guys, so one of my users is experiencing issues while trying to stream to their tv.
I know the iOS App has playback limitations for free users but notification that popped up clearly states that my user can use their phone as a Plex remote for free.
Now the problem is, that it doesn’t work.
I surely hope that it isn’t meant to be this way, especially telling people that they can use it as a remote but then won’t do it.
I sadly don’t have the full information regarding version number of the app nor which version of iOS or TV is being used.
So what can we/my user do about this, besides buying the app? I have a Plex Pass Lifetime subscription if that changes anything.

I don’t know if that extends to shared servers. I’ll need to check and get back to you.
Confirmed that this should also work with a shared server. You’ll need to get more details from your user.
