Whenever I try to download a TV show or movie from my friend’s server on iOS, it instantly gives me a download fail. I have Plex Pass, and they do as well. They also have downloads enabled.

Same thing is happening for my wife’s phone (iOS) even from our own server.
Please reproduce and provide both the app and server logs. There are many things that can cause download to fail, so there isn’t 1 fix.
I have the same problem, and had had it since end of June. How to send you the logfile?

Wouldn’t work on iPhone or iPad when outside of my LAN. Finally the phone worked but iPad wouldn’t still. So while on a 3 week vacation I tried logging out of iPad app and logging back in…. Wiped out all of the media I downloaded before the trip. This new version has no end to the things that are so sub-standard. Please roll this back!
By wouldn’t work, I mean download. Always the immediate error. So now I can even replace the downloaded media that was wiped out by logging out and back in.
