iOS Plex app - Live TV - no audio

Thank you Craig for the update. As you know after the IOS Plex 15 Live TV is not working . No video or audio.

Live TV now working for me in v2025.22.0 (1195).

No news on this topic? I’m on latest plex media server and ios release but no audio at all.

What is latest for you (official release of TestFlight)? I’m on iOS v2025.22 and do now have both video audio.

@topogiyo v2025.22.0 is the current beta version for Android and iOS.

Sadly if you are using an iOS device, the beta is apparently full, however you can try your luck here:

If Android, I think you should be able to sign-up without any issues.

This is still a problem with the App Store version (2025.21.0).
The good news is that a fix has been made in the latest Beta Testing version (2025.22.0).
Once the Beta test is completed and Plex are happy with the code, this will be made available to everyone.
How long that will be is anyones guess (my guess would be 1-2 weeks)

I tested v22 still same problems no audio and video

No audio AND video is something new I’m afraid, the issue here was where for some reason the Plex Mobile client would apparently request the audio to be transcoded into a CODEC that isn’t supported, Video works.

If you login via web browser or using Plex desktop app, do you still have issues with both Audio and Video? Also is this the same if you are both local and remote?

Not me, I installed v22 and same problems no audio or sound for most channels only if I a,m connected to my local Lan If I use cellular data it works. My other devices connected via Lan works just fine

Plex version 2025.22.0 became available for me today on both iOS and iPadOS. It finally resolved the audio and video playback issues I was experiencing with HDHomeRun.
That said, I’m still surprised that such a major bug made it into the release and remained unresolved for such a long time. Hopefully, some lessons were learned to prevent similar issues in the future.
