I tried pure IPv6 streaming 6 months ago (My Internet connection has CG-NAT) and I remember it working, even though the “Remote Access” page said “not available”.
I can’t get it to work anymore, nothing has changed on my server, but the client is now “new experience”.
Has IPv6 support been removed from the new clients?
To be honest I’ve disabled IPv6 to WAN, as it renders almost all of the security features in my gateway useless. I do recall you need to "enable IPv6 support under network in settings, I played with it many moons ago, but had issues with my ISP not allocating the right prefixes.
Yeah it’s enabled for me. But the new client doesn’t seem to use IPv6 to connect.

I don’t have a public IPv4, using it over Cloudflare is against its ToS and now no IPv6. Shame.
My solution is to install the old app from the APK and disable updates.
