Don’t know it this is tthe place to put this, but I had an issue with media (movieposters, people pictures) not updating from tmdb.org. Movie descriptions and ratings were working fine (a lot slower, but they were recieved).
The solution was disabeling IPv6 on my NAS (Synology DSM 6.1.4) itself. Disabeling it on my dd-wrt router or pi-hole had no effect.
I could replicate the behaviour on another NAS.
You’re correct. Plex does not have IPv6 WAN support for metadata. The servers Plex users are IPv4 only.
I will double check to see if IPv6 is in the FAQ. If not, I’ll ask @trumpy81 to add it.
