PMS Not finding metadata

I have an issue with PMS not finding any metadata for any new movies i add. It’s been working for the last few months but only started not working approx. 11 days ago. I tried Updating and refreshing the library with no success.

I have attached the log files if any one can help

Hi Trumpy81 thank you for your response.

I figured out that the issue is coming from my NAS.
I have 2 Synology DS916+ and DS215J I have installed PMS on the DS215J with just 1 movie in the database and it’s doing the same thing. I also installed PMS on my windows computer and all is working well witch tells me that my hardware and modem are working.

I can excess both my sinology servers and have no issue excessing the internet so I don’t know what is going on.

I don’t know if it is related to the latest update of DSM
I have reinstalled PMS on the DS916+ and it still has go the same issue
I have attached the log file for the DS916+ I changed the file extension from .csv to .txt for it to upload

I have Static IP address on both my nas

The Names of the servers are as follows NAS-DS916 and NAS-DS215J

I have Firewall on both Nas turned off and I’ve also turned off the firewall on my router.
I have not configured port forwarding

still have the same issue

I have just downloaded the PMS log file again just incase their is a different issue this time

You mentioned that my network is timing out. I have looked at both the network settings on the DSM and PMS side and couldn’t find nothing wrong

I don’t have Jumbo frames enabled and I have both Ethernet connected via a Netgear switch GS108Tv2 that supports Lag and it’s been configured since day 1.

Yes both NAS are accessible outside your network’

Hey I just fixed it and now it’s all working again. You mentioned that it’s related to network so I started looking into all the settings. I found that DSM by default IPv6 is set to auto and decided to turn it off and now it’s all working.

By turning off IPv6 is that a good idea?
Also both my Netgear switch and Modem router do support IPv6 so don’t know why it stopped working.

I also disable IPv6 on the DS215J and the metadata is now updating.

Thank you trumpy81 for all your help

I was having problems with plex no long refreshing meta data for the last few weeks, then finally came across this thread. I disabled IPv6 in my router and now my meta data is refreshing perfectly. Thanks for the advice everyone.
