It seems you have to manually upload the new package when there’s a new version released. Are there any plans to publish the packages to Synology so we could do automatic updates?

packages are published in the synology “store”, but they are always several versions behind.
Ah right, and would the store version upgrade a manually installed version? Or do they appear as separate packages? When I tried the store one ages ago it never seemed to get an update and I waited for months.
Out of interest, why do plex keep the package in the package centre?
i assume it’s plex that is submitting it to the package centre in the first place.

if it’s not plex submitting it to the package centre when why does plex allow synology to put it there? it’s plex’s intellectual property, surely plex can say don’t put it in the package centre.
