I had 5 users in my home and suddenly only the primary account exists as a user. Anyone know how to get all my users back?
‘Managed’ users are stored on your server locally, in the main database file.
Did you have trouble recently with it?
Server crash? Backup restored, server move, different Windows user account etc?
You could try to restore an older backup of the database file:
Thank you for the advice but unfortunately restoring the database to yesterday did not help. I know the accounts were their this morning.
i also tried going back a few more days but with no success.
The only thing I did was setup a new existing Plex user. I sent the invite to myself and opened the invite. This is when I think the accounts disappeared.
Did you start Plex server under a different Windows user account?
This would cause Plex to use a totally different data set.
Did you erase your server from under Settings - Devices?
Did you ‘leave’ your Plex Home?
Did you (by accident) join someone else’s Plex home? This would lead to the destruction of your own Plex Home.
Like I said I was setting up another account by inviting an email address that I am in control of. I clicked on the accept invite link but closed the window before it opened realizing that I am currently logged in as my other account. Would this somehow cause my Plex Home to become destroyed? If so is there a way to restore?
No I didn’t change accounts or erase my server. About a year ago I did accidentally join someone’s home so I know not to do that again.

(where you clicked the ‘join’ link)?
The support staff is trying to retrace the events.
Staff tried to track the events, but could only conclude that you indeed left your home and then rejoined it soon afterwards.
They also tried to recreate the issue by inviting a second plex account into the home and then clicking on the invitation link while signed in to the primary plex account. All worked, so clicking on the link while signed into a different Plex account should not trigger any misbehaviour.
So is there anyway to restore the home?
