So few days ago my plex stopped working on my android device it keeps saying that my server is offline :/. everything seems to be ok from my PC side . and I am able to connect just fine.
Did most of the basic troubleshooting i found on the web with no luck. I reinstalled the player, reinstalled the server, restarted my router, restarted the server. no luck
Next I used my Android device and used the web browser (Chrom) to connect to app.plex.tv/desktop while connected to an external network my mobile 4g connection
That worked just fine and was able to view my media .
Next I used a spare iphone x I had for my work and downloaded plex player and I also was able to connect just fine to my server using an external internet connection not my internal network.
I also tried it on my surface pro and that works fine both internal and external connection
Am not sure why its not working on one type of phone but other devices are ok
me and my partner both have S10 and S7 and both devices not working internal or external connection.
