Issue with marking split items as watched

I’m not sure what category this goes into because I don’t know if I hit the issue because im using the Mac server, or if its based on the player, etc.

The issue is that both entries of a split movie are being marked as watched when I mark them as watched, and when I start playing one they both show up as items that I’m currently in the middle of watching, but they are two different movies so this should not happen. More info I have 2 movies that have similar titles and at first plex matched them as the same movie. I manually split the items, and edited them to have the correct titles/other info. Now, when I play one of them they both show up in Continue Watching. If I mark one as watched, they both get marked as watched.

Is there anything I can do on my end to fix this, or is it a bug that needs to be updated on the server or player interfaces?

When you split the items, they are still considered the same movie. You need to fix the matching first otherwise what you describe happens. If you don’t need the second item matched because you’ve already manually edited the entry, do a manual match and set the agent to “personal media”. This tells PMS not to try matching the file.
