Hi
Using server on a Mac. Weird issue here. I would normally get my files created, downloaded whatever and there would be the initial file name (which can sometimes be gibberish).
I would rename the file correctly as per the guides. In the past the file gets scanned by the server and the correct title would show up for the movie (less year in brackets) and the correct episode name if it is a TV show.
Now even if I would rename the file for some reason the server will get all the information on the title correct (including images) EXCEPT for the title which remains the old title file despite changing it. With TV shows it’ll show ‘Tvshow-s01e01’ instead of ‘episode name’ and movies it would show say ‘TITLE01’ instead of ‘Batman’
Any help will be appreciated as I don’t really want to rename each and every file manually
Server Version#: 1.16.4.1469

That sounds like embedded metadata causing this.

Local Media Assets
Most agents will contain the Local Media Assets source. This source looks for local files like poster images, subtitles, etc. as well as embedded metadata inside certain media files. For example:
Metadata like plot, release year, etc. embedded in a file (typically MP4, M4V, MP3, and more)

Looks like the problem is now solved! I figured it was embedded metadata but yeah I couldn’t figure out how to get the server to read and use the information in the file name rather than the embedded metadata.
Thanks all for the help!
