Issues restoring previous in-app purchase

Have the same issue. Already bought another $5 for managed user (idiot i know) but now trying to watch on another device and I was told by plex support i should restore purchases, but I am getting a message - “in app purchases not allowed” I had a look but there are no restriction at screen time settings. Re-installed app and still not working. Any ideas?

Just to verify you checked all the right spots (which I suppose you did based on your post):

If the iOS device has some hiccup when it comes to in-app purchases… have you tried to restart iOS?
Also… does the account have an active payment mode?

Hello guys! Same case here, have purchased the activation for iOS and the feature is not available on any of my devices. The app pops the Restore Purchase screen but when clicked I got a message: “Unable to Restore Purchase”.

I’m using the same Apple id as the purchase, have no issues with other in-app purchases, have tried restarting the iOS several times and I have an active payment mode on my device.

What else should I try to solve this issue? Thanks in advance

Does the in-app purchase still show up in your iTunes account purchase history?

It doesn’t appear in my iTunes account, however I have the email with all the details regarding the purchase (dating back to 2017).

Have you already contacted Apple about this?
If the in-app purchase is no longer showing up on the end of the App Store, the Plex client will get the same message when attempting to restore the purchase for the app.

Hello guys, sending my feedback to all community, as this may help other users. After deleting and reinstalling the app a couple of times the activation worked on all my devices.
