Issues with Beta 7.15.0.10215 (and the few before)

With the last 3 beta releases (maybe even farther back) I have noticed the following issues that just seem to be (IMO) overlooked during “fixed” releases.

  • Continued playback after Alarm, Phone Call or Assistant Use while connected to Bluetooth. (I haven’t tried with wired connection). This used to work flawlessly and made it safer while driving.

  • When current playing file (Podcast) is paused and app is closed down, then app is restarted. Last played file is minimized at the bottom of screen at last position played. When you maximize it to return to play it starts the file all the way back to the beginning. Causing you to stop the file go back to that home screen (Podcast) and start to replay from that already played position of the “On Deck” section . If this is the new way then why does Plex even leave the file minimized at the bottom?

Is there any upcoming plans to fix these things?

As a side note, I know Audiobooks are not a priority for the Plex Developers, but as a

“Control your media destiny! Organize, beautify, stream, and share your personal collection of movies, TV, music, and photos anywhere, on all your devices.”

system, this is a big type of media to a lot of people (I would say just as much as podcasts or pictures) so can we please get a playback style like Podcasts or Movies or TV Shows to be able to return to the previous played section of an Audiobook even if we go to another category of media?

I understand you are doing things that I (nor a majority of the users here) could even dream of creating and I am happy to say I Love Plex. But every other form of playable (and as for pictures, static) media has gotten some direct development inside of the PMS but Audiobooks. Please?
