Issues with General Release 1.43.1.10576-06378bdcd

Server Version#: 1.43.1.10576-06378bdcd
This updated today, 08APR2026, after the Update. My Remote Access quit working. Tried a few things, still not working. Reinstalled 1.43.0.10492-121068a07 and it’s WORKING FINE!

DO They TEST this out BEFORE they release this sh*t or are they Forcing crap again? The New Experience is a TOTAL WASTE too.

DO NOT UPGRADE to 1.43.1.10576-06378bdcd

No need to be a toxic Karen, Karen. Plex had a DNS issue with the internal plex.direct domain that is used. It is not related to the version of plex you recently upgraded to/from.

Not TOXIC… They’ve been forcing this crap out aka New Experience, and a ton of people don’t like it. This is another example

Also, Why is it broken then?

There was an incident earlier today that impacted remote access for some users.

https://status.plex.tv/

This incident just so happened to occur around the time of the release. It was a coincidence.

The DNS issue above probably started around the time you upgraded, and was fixed by the time you rolled back.

tengo el problema de que ya nada de mis bibliotecs reproduce, actualiza ala nueva version y ahora como soluciono ¡??

[I’m having a problem where nothing in my libraries will play anymore. I updated to the new version—so how do I fix this now?]

roll back to earlier version.

The same error on Synology NAS. And the server doesn’t allow me to roll back to the previous version, it says that a more recent version is installed.

Go into your Plex folder (i.e. \Plex Media Server\Updates) and choose an earlier version to install. If this will help. I then, in the Web Settings, I turned OFF General Upgrades for Plex in the settings - for now.

I’ve just hit the same problem. After installing I just get Method not found in the browser, so I am back on the previous version
Just to note that is plexmediaserver-1.43.1.10540-3972d551c.x86_64

If you’re having an issue describe the what the issue is (screenshots are helpful), reproduce the issue, capture logs, and share them.

The OP’s issue is related to Remote Access and likely associated to the temporary incident with DNS. If your issue is different create your own post describing your issue.

Please do the following;

  1. Confirm server DEBUG logging is enabled, VERBOSE logging is disabled.
    SAVE if changes.
  2. Restart PMS
  3. Give it two minutes to start and stabilize
  4. Start a playback which shows the issue
  5. Let it play for 20 seconds
  6. Stop the playback
  7. Download the server logs
  8. Attach the logs so I may see them.

I have now reinstalled 10576 and everything seems to be working now. I am running on tumbleweed and I suspect the problem was similar with a temporary networking problem. I use cockpit to manage the servers and THAT was also having a problem when I went back in to track things. It was giving the same messages on the firefox browser. I would not have been able to fulfil any of your debug steps since I could not access PMS at all, but everything is working fine again now. Perhaps the interesting thing IS that as soon as I reloaded the older version I could get back in! It was then I found the problem with cockpit not working but I am not quite sure just what cleared that problem, as it persisted after a clean reboot, yet I used plex from my TV last night. Things seem to have cleared up over night without any new software updates on the servers which are both showing ‘nothing to do’ …

Going to attempt to Install the latest firmware update now. I’ll report back.

Side Note: I’m just was frustrated that they’re pushing out this “New Experience” and we are having to PUSH MORE BUTTONS to find stuff. IF they want to use this New Experience, They should do a THEME instead of pushing it out on people.

Also having issues playing anything since 10576 installed. I am running it on a Synology Beestation, and a bit reluctant to reinstall Plex (by fear of loosing configuration).

Error message: Verify the file exists and the disk is accessible (Verifiez que ce fichier existe et que le disque est accessible).

The file exists and the disk is accessible. No issue playing with VLC from my computer.
