No Servers Found (server version 0.9.10.3 or higher required

Hey Guys,
I formatted my PC and just re-installed Plex. I am a plex pass member. everything is up to date I have the newest plex etc I've tried re-installing plex, deleting it from Xbox, port forwarding, two different routers, opening plex from plex media server desktop icon .. I am getting this error No Servers Found server version 0.9.10.3 or higher required. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same error here. Alex is working fine on all my other media streamers and remotely on the iphone.

Same here.  Not a happy camper...

Opened app, requested pin. I had already used it previously, first thing I installed on brand new Xbox One!

Entered, no servers found.

Uninstall/Re-Install worked.

Used Plex on pretty much all platforms, I have a Roku and Samsung TV, iOS etc. Xbox One is so far the worst experience, yet the interface looks stunning, lots of potential. Need playlists on a device I can leave running in the background. Not a tablet though. Would've been killer for New Year's Eve party.

Keep up the good work, it is a fab app, when it's working.

Hi

Same error here!

I've just paid the Plex Plass in order to use in my new Xbox One, but it's impossible!!!!

Any fix please?

Thanks

Hi,

(this is a repeat post hope the management don't mind :))

i had the same issue, my server is a synology with the latest software update from the app store. But this doesn't work with the Xbox One

But if you go to https://plex.tv/downloads and find your server and download from there using a PC or Mac. Uninstall Plex from your server and run the downloaded file it will be the correct and latest version.

Hope this helps

Hi,

Have the latest server. Still no server found error. any ideas?

Solved server issue by resetting the router and solved films dimming after a few minutes by hard resetting the xbox.

I'm having the same issue.

EVERYTHING else on my network finds the Plex Server properly and works fine.

It is the xbox one that is saying it can't find the plex server (ver 0.9.11.7)

Please help!

I have just realised as it didn't prompt me but I have it working now and what you need to do (well what worked for me is)

Goto the Settings, then click on SERVER, then click on the 'CONNECT' menu on the left.

I then had to sign in with my plex username and password (though I had thought this was already done as I used my username and password to open the program) however it doesn't prompt you to do that.

as soon as I did it says it is now connected to plex and you can also stream movies over the web.

AND.

The xbox now worked INSTANTLY.

Hope this helps.

I think this has a lot to do with the Xbox One and how buggy the system is. I have to hard reset mine sometimes even when I'm not using Plex. I tried to open Netflix on it last night and normally it loads the white screen then flips to the new black screen. It hung on the white screen. I could kill the app but that didn't work. I had to do a hard boot on the Xbox One.
