So last January i finally got my head round the import from iTunes option in Plex. Both plex media server and iTunes library are on my QNAP TVS473e running the latest OS.
I would take my iTunes library file, copy it to my PC rename the file paths and rename it iTunes library Plex and place it back in iTunes folder. In Plex the iTunes plugins would show up in settings and the option ‘import from iTunes’ would show up under playlists - and bingo, all my playlists - worked well. I would do these actions every few weeks and all good
I upgraded Plex server to 1.26.2.5797 and noticed ‘import from iTunes’ option missing and saw iTunes plugins no longer there. Tried rolling back to previous version and still no luck.
Has anyone else noticed a similar problem? The ‘Enable iTunes library still ticked’ in plex plug in settings and the file path correct.
Wondered if Plex finally killed off iTunes integration??
