Just stopped working

Had Plex running as a server on Linux mint for about 6 years. I updated it today and all the files work fine on the server and checked with Kodi however none of my devices can watch anything. They start but just stop. Maybe 2-4 min into the movie.

Never had an issue before and no idea where to start as it’s just worked for years on end.

The system I use as a server is
Core2quad
16gb ram
120gb SSD transcode drive
2gb gt1030 ddr5
1gbit ethernet.

I am at a loss… I even did a fresh install as it’s been running years on end. And took the hot for all the media to re load but same issue.

Checked all the smart settings and drives all fine. Checked system monitor and it’s not under any strange load. Even scanning library there is loads of head room left.

Any ideas how I can revert back to the old version or if there is a fix due out soon?

Don’t get how it can work flawless for years on end and today decide to nope doesn’t work anymore.

We’re going to need a little more to go on than what you’ve given us.

Server Version
Android App Version
Fire-TV App Version

Whether or not the files are transcoding or Direct Playing

Logs from the server and both Devices.

We need to know which device is causing the problem, the FireTV and Android Device, or the Server. Before we can tell you how to revert. And, we cannot begin to know which one is failing without the aforementioned necessary information.

XML’s of any of the Media you attempted to play may also be useful.

Ok will pull all that out.
Just strange not a single issue for years on end. Was hoping to get lucky with a tick box I had missed. Will upload the details you asked for in the morning.
