Playback has stopped because the connection to the Plex Media Server has been lost.

This started happening earlier today after an app update on some files. Now it is happening constantly.

App on Fire tablet works. It is version 6.12. Fire TV app does not work;it is version 6.13.

My server is on Linux and it is version 1.11.3.4803 and installed on 2/19. This problem did not start until 2/21 which is when the Fire TV app was updated to version 6.13.7.3458. I have two Fire TV’s and both were updated to 6.13.7.3458 and both are dead in the water.

Have you checked your debug log? I posted what I am seeing here and just wondering if you are getting the same errors.

Yes. I posted a log in the thread in the Android TV & Amazon Fire TV section. It looks similar to your log. I have gotten both of my Fire TV’s to work by setting the video quality to 3Mbps, 720p but that means some things are transcoding and not using direct play.

Thanks - found the post. Have provided a MP4 sample, hopefully that helps them resolve it quicker!
