Keep having to initialize plex every day so i can watch it

Hello all this is my first post so here goes…

Ive got a WD my cloud home which ive had for about 1 1/2 years now and plex has just seemed to work. I can add stuff and share it with family no problems until now.

Ever since last Thursday I have to initialize every day just watch it and then it works again .After a few hours or the next day i have to initialize the whole thing again just to get it to work and be able to watch my media.

Ive set port forwarding in the router (which i have never had to do) and set it to a static IP address. so i could watch it outside my network.

If i login with the IP-address with :32400 my mac (10.13) doesnt see the WD mycloud home. it only sees my folder in my mac .
If i click the spanner icon and under plex web it says my macbook pro and nothing else it listed in the drop down box.
If i login with my linux machine (mint20) it doesnt see it. I have to go to mycloudhome/hello and login and disable plex and re enable plex and click configure, If i’m lucky it will saying initialize plex server then says app:plex doesnt support insecure connections once i manage to sort it out it works again for a few hours.

I’m not sure whats going on. Any help would be good.

Is my hard drive failing? or is this a simple fix
Ive tried everything been up for a few hours each night trying to sort it out.

I just about ready to give up on plex if i want to watch my media think i may have to just the mycloud home app on my phone browse the files and play them that way .

Please pull a set of server log files and attach the entire zip file to this thread.

Its been working for about a week now not problems.
Ive added new media and now its all gone again and now i cant get it back this is going to be a long night getting this to work again ill try and find out the server logs and see whats going on

Not sure weather the logs are from the nas drive as cant access it at the moment .
i can only access the macbook folder which i havent setup it has done it for me for some reason
