I don’t know who’s bright idea this latest update was but it is awful. Plain awful. You’ve really taken leaps backwards with this version and I’m so frustrated I’m about ready to cancel my Plex pass. Half of the libraries on my PC are now completely gone from my iOS devices. I can’t access any of that content - it is nowhere to be found. Every song I play buffers, sometimes for two minutes or more, despite having 50 mb/s download speeds on my phone and 5 mb/s upload speeds on my server (I did a speed test on both devices). An entire song should upload to my phone in a matter of seconds for seamless playback at yet it still buffers. I had one song buffer over 10 times today! This is not good. My photos are no longer arranged by album. In fact, to view photos by album, as they’re arranged on my server, I have to use the GRID view instead of the ALBUM view on my phone. How does this make sense?! Terrible. I have 4 video libraries but only 1 shows up on my phone and I can’t figure out where the others are. My “Home” screen shows “This is your personalized home screen” with NO CONTENT and a picture of a stupid shark! Where’d all my stuff go? It was there a couple days ago! When the home page loads, I want to see all my media libraries just as they’re arranged on my server, just like the last version did. Apparently someone thought that wasn’t a good idea. When I do finally find something, it takes many more taps to get there as it did before. I wish I had never let the app update to the latest version. It is absolutely awful and far too different from the previous version to be useful. You’ve got to fix this and fix it fast before you start losing customers in droves. I don’t know how anyone would be happy with these latest updates. Sorry to spout off like this but I’ve always been very happy with new developments. But this one leaves me fuming and cursing. I knew something like this would eventually happen and is precisely why I never bought the lifetime pass. Server 1.13.2.5102 and iOS build 14141.
I’m still trying to get my remote server going. Bridge mode whatever that is. I love the podcast. No doubt I’m not as advanced a user as you.
I’m not terribly advanced. They “fixed” something that didn’t need fixing. I love the podcast feature too but all they had to do was add a new button to the homescreen for podcast libraries.
