Plex client version 5.4.0 and LG WebOS 2.0, Plex Server 1.41.0.8994
XPlay client is working under WebOS 2.0
I have similar problems.
It appeared on 09/10/24. Until now everything has been working fine.
LG WebOS v1.4.
Please help me find a solution.
Same here to old LG TV, not webOS version.
Same here. There has been a issue like this in June. Hopefully this also gets resolved that quickly.
Same problem in LG Stmart TV with NESTCAST.
Same problem here. Yesterday I had to update the app. Couldn’t bypass that. Since then the Plex app doesn’t start. Please fix the problem.
I wonder why they updated the app…
LG TV, webOS 1.4.0.
Just some further info:
I tried launching the app before I updated it and it wouldn’t load, then i tried the update which still had the same problem.
Have tried turning the TV off for 15 mins as was suggested elsewhere.
This TV when there is an update it opens up the app store instead of the plex app, but you can choose launch or update usually.
Thank you all the information. We’ve identified the issue affecting Netcast and webOS 1/2 devices and we’re working to resolve it.
Thank you for your patience, this issue should now be resolved for all devices. If you continue to experience issues please try unplugging your device for a few minutes and plugging it back in.
I’ve been able to confirm that my webOS 2 device is now loading correctly.
It worked, thanks!
Nice one, thanks.
Thank you for solving this!
Thank you for your quick response.
On my WebOS 1.4 TV, the app also resumed working.
