Black Screen on 4 x LG TVs WebOS

As of today Plex doesn’t load on any of my 4 LG TVs. It gets stuck after logo on a black screen. Works on mobile devices and firestick.

I cam here to say this exact thing started for me today on my LG C2. I’ve tried everything I can think of, turned off quick start, standby mode, fully powered off tv, uninstalled app, factory reset my entire TV, reinstalled app…still goes right to black screen.

Same, LG C1, happened about 30 minutes ago, rebooting the server, router, and uninstalling/reinstalling didn’t fix it

I think I saw this earlier.

I ask you all to confirm:

  1. Start the app
  2. It sits there with blank page
  3. “Go BACK” KEY. (BACKWARDS arrow)
  4. report what happens.

EDIT: I put the wrong key name.

Nothing happens on my LG. Still black screen.

I only have a remote with directional controls. I click to the left and nothing happens.

Just tried this. Doesn’t seem to do anything on my LG C2.

Ditto this. Plex worked on just fine on my LG WebOS TV yesterday, today it does just this, hangs on a black screen after the logo. Restarted the server, rebooted my entire network, uninstalled Plex and reinstalled it. Nothing worked, Plex is still broken.

Here is the same as off 20 min ago i get the black screen on my lg tv .

Hopefully it is off pushing an update for the app to fix the subtitle / transcoder failed issue when the last line of the subtitle has past. Who knows :smiley:

That does not fix the issue at all.

This one works for me. I think we got an app bug.

Ok. I hammered the back arrow button and it crashed out to my home screen. When I reopened the app just now…it loaded.
